Going Covid Crazy? Tips on how to deal.

It seems as though Covid 19 has taken over our lives the past few months. I think we are all suffering deep down with it; even if you are working from home or taking care of the kids 24/7. Here are some helpful tips to keep you calm, and to carry on.


  1. Breathing exercises: Our smartphones have many apps we can use as tools for meditation and breathing exercises. Take 10 minutes for yourself and try to ease your mind.

  2. Physical exercise: At home workouts are amazing. They are convenient, can be quick & efficient, and don't require any travel time!

  3. Create simple healthy habits while at home: walking daily to de-stress, drinking lemon water first thing in the morning to hydrate and get ready to start your day or meal planning.

  4. Read that book you have been meaning to pick up.

  5. Journal your thoughts. Mental health is very important and we need to take care of that as much as we need to take care of our physical health. Journaling can help you relieve some of your anxieties and persistent thoughts.

  6. For all those moms trying to entertain kids: create a weekly schedule to ease some chaos.

  7. Start that bucket list! Now that we have had time to reflect on what we want to do when we are able to get back to normal, you will be ready to take on some new adventures!

  8. Family game night. Who doesn't have a good laugh playing Ellen Degeneres' "heads up"?

  9. Date night: who says it needs to be at a restaurant? You & your significant other can pop some bubbly & make that new recipe you've been meaning to test out.

  10. Find a hobby that keeps your mind busy and your heart content.
