Do you find it difficult to stay on track? Missing out on your healthy breakfast? In this day in age, it has been so easy to go through a drive through and have your food ready in seconds, which I am sure allows you to catch a few extra zzz's in the morning.
Drive through's may be convenient ways to have breakfast, however, it certainly isn't the most healthy way. Here is a simple recipe for you to follow and make the night before so you're grab & go breakfast starts in the kitchen & not at the drive through.
Blueberry Overnight Oats
1/3 cup of rolled oats (I used Bobs Red Mill)
1/2 a cup of original or vanilla almond milk (this can be adjusted to less if you want your oats to be a little bit harder or add a bit more if you like it on the soup-ish side)
1-2 Tablespoons of frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon of cinnamon (can be adjusted to your taste buds)
1 teaspoon of chia seeds (optional)
You can also add other ingredients such as :
1 tbsp. Plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 a Banana (or any other berry will work) instead of blueberry
1 tbsp All Natural Peanut Butter
1tsp of Hemp Seeds
Dash of Vanilla Bean Extract
Mix together, refrigerate at night & enjoy in the morning!
Enjoy! xoxo
